But because they utilize mixed-fillers - a blend of short & long leaves - Puros Indios Cuban Wheels deal out high-end flavor at lowball pricing. The mix-fill blend consists of bold Nicaraguan and Costa Rican tobaccos secured by a Nicaraguan binder and a hearty, if not homely, Corojo wrapper leaf also from Nica. Most def not the prettiest girl at prom, but these rough & rowdy hand-rolls are richly nuanced and surprisingly complex considering the per stick cost. Pepper, spice, dark roast coffee right off the bat; these ain't no joke! Mellowing a bit by mid-point, med to full in body overall, they finish smooth with an enjoyable caramelized sweetness.
